Two Muslim Minor girls were playing outside their house when a 25 year old man called Kapil Kashyap lured them with candies and took them in the jungle. The girls aged 5 and 9 lived in Modinagar area of Ghaziabad district, UP.
Both girls were raped by him and the elder girl was also strangled and killed while younger girl managed to escape. The dead body of the girl was found on a farm whereas the survivor was found I the sugarcane field.
Ghaziabad’s Superintendent of Police Dr. Iraz Raza said that “On Thursday evening, when the two minor girls were playing outside their house, the accused came on his bicycle and took both of them to a jungle in the pretext of buying them candies.
Following an F.I.R he has been arrested and booked under sections 376 (punishment for rape), 302 (punishment for murder), and 5 and 6 Protection of Child against Sexual Offences (POCSO) act.
Kashyap was produced before the court and sent to jail on Friday, according to Millennium Post.
Last week on the occassion of Independence day,11 convicts of rape of Bilquis bano, who also happen to be the rapist and murderers of other women in her families were set free by the Gujarat Government on the basis of Remission Policy,1992. The monsters were not just freed from the jail ,but were also celebrated by the Hindu Extremist group called Vishwa Hindu Parishad.Casual attitude with rapists in India by the authorities will only lead to more and more cases of these kind where some rotten minded feel that raping women and young girls shall garner them glory and fame.
